一番得たものは、ネガティブ思考からポジティブ思考に変われたこと。

I have been studying English in Free bird institute since January 2007. I studied 1 year and 4 months in Free bird Lautoka campus. When I joined this school for the first time， I really didn’t know how to speak and write in English， even the grammar rule. At first I was really finding it hard to learn English， but I always tried all my best to learn. I told myself “Don’t give up easily， slowly I can get it!!” And also Lautoka campus teachers always stimulate me to study English. I really love teachers in Lautoka Campus. I always look them like my friends. If I looked them like my teachers， I wouldn’t be able to talk to them， because students tend to be scared of teachers by thinking of them that they are high position. So I looked them like my friends and I could talk to them easily. They corrected my English patiently so now I can speak and write in English easily！


僕は2007年1月から16ヶ月間、フリーバードで英語を学びました。初めて学校に来たとき、僕は英語を話すことも書くこともできませんでした。英語の文法さえもほとんど知りませんでした。英語の習得は本当に難しいと感じましたが、一生懸命努力をし、よく自分自身に「簡単に諦めるな。少しずつ話せるようになるはず！」と言い聞かせていました。

また、学校の先生たちからいつも刺激をもらっていました。僕は先生たちのことが大好きです。僕は彼らのことを友達のような存在であると思っています。先生というポジションは僕たちよりも高いのですが、そんな彼らのことを立場が上の存在というよりも、仲間のように思えることで、気軽に何でも話せたように思います。彼らが僕の間違った英語を根気強く直してくれたことで、僕は今とても簡単に英語を話せ、書けるようになりました！

When I was in the class I always wanted to have fun. By having fun in the class， I can improve more than being serious. I really enjoyed studying very much in Free bird lautoka campus. Now I’m a volunteer teacher for 1 semester. I really don’t want to go away， but I have to move on with my life. I’m really satisfied about my English， but I won’t stop studying English in my life. I have to improve more in English， so I have to keep learning English everyday. This school just taught me the basic and normal English， the advance English. The big present I received from this school was changing negative thinking to positive one. When I started to have positive thinking， my life becomes brilliant.


授業中は、思う存分楽しみましょう！勉強は真剣になることもそうですが、それ以上に楽しんで学ぶのが一番。僕は本当にフリーバードで勉強することが楽しかったです。僕は卒業しましたが、今学期ボランティアとして学校に来て生徒さんのサポートをしています。学校にはずっと居たいですが、次のステップへ進まなければなりません。僕は自分の英語に今とても満足していますが、これからも英語を継続して学んでいきます。もっともっと上達したいので、毎日勉強しなければ！学校では日常会話からアドバンスレベルの英語を学びましたが、僕がフリーバードで一番得たものは、ネガティブ思考からポジティブ思考に変われたことです。ポジティブに物事を考えられるようになって以来、僕の人生は最高に素晴らしいものになっています！

Hi， everyone! If you really want to learn English， I recommend you to choose Free bird Institute， I think it is not expensive to study and you also can learn a lot of things from this school， not just only English but many things for example， learning other cultures， having positive way of thinking and break you shyness and so on！ I really recommend you to come to Fiji and learn your English because Fiji has a good English environment for you to speak and learn. I’ve had my experience of that， so I want you to have the same experience. First time maybe you might find it hard， but don’t give up. Slowly you can get it. The most important advice I want to give you is to think positive to learn and do everything you want. If you think negative， you will fail all the things you do. Believe me because I have this kind of experience. I really want to tell you that because I can do it， you also can do it， because we are the same. I believe you， you can do it same like me. Lastly， I hope you success and enjoy your life!

みなさん、こんにちは！もし他の国で英語を学びたいと考えているなら、僕は是非フリーバードをお薦めします。費用が安いということはもちろん、学校では英語だけでなく本当に多くのことを学ぶことができます。たとえば、異国の文化、ポジティブな考え方、また恥ずかしがりで控えめな性格を打ち破ることができます！フィジーは本当に英語を学ぶにはいい環境だと僕は思っています。僕が経験したことを、ぜひ皆さんにも経験してほしい。もちろん最初は厳しいこともあるかもしれませんが、絶対にあきらめないでください。僕がそうであったように、少しずつ英語にも環境にも慣れてきます。1番みなさんに伝えたいことは、いつでもポジティブな姿勢でいること！もしネガティブ思考で物事に挑戦しても、きっと失敗する可能性の方が高いはず。僕もここで色んなことを乗り越えることができたので、みなさんも必ずそうであることを信じています。最後に、みなさんが成功して最高の人生を送りますように！
